An unexpected voice

Drowns out the whispers

Of distant memories

As I feel her move closer

Her memory no longer

Faded into the background

As she drifts into my vision

Flashbacks of a time

Where dreams were innocent

Quickly replaced by a hearts desire

A longing that could never be

Explained nor extinguished

This moment for which

None other can compare

As I stand
