Savoring the Lioness
Distracted by her wandering gaze
A beacon amongst a thousand fading stars
Her song a new familiar voice
In this world that kept her breathing.
One sudden unforeseen thought
Erupting in the back of her mind
Where never before had such visions spawned
Inviting as they were terrifying.
Dreaming allowed her greatest fear
Standing face to face with the lioness itself,
Ready to feed on her every desire.
Oh how its sweet poison beckoned,
Awakening her every sense
As she eagerly craved for merely a taste
For from its crimson lips
Dripped that which made her knees tremble.
Weakened by her beating heart
Faster now in the awkward stillness
As shadows gathered
To catch a glimpse of the forbidden.
Her innocent curiosity
Rapidly turning her into a savage beast
For no longer could she withstand the temptation
Slowly breathing down her neck.-
