Mind Games
The complexities of human interaction is simply mind blowing, reaching far beyond the depths of speculation and confusion as conceivably possible. This makes understanding other's intentions nearly impossible. Mind games are definitely not my most favored past-time as relationships in general are complicated enough simply by themselves. Add to that the countless subtle behaviors and never-ending questions that accompany this uniquely twisted world and you end up with the perfect recipe for absolute frustration.
Simply put: I am not a mind reader.
It is pure human nature to be attracted to another human, oftentimes without warning or consent. Whether we act on that attraction or not is solely up to each of us as individuals regardless of invisible boundaries that are meant to keep us apart. Not all of us are preprogrammed to follow the rules and not many of us do when given the right circumstances. However, if the temptation arises and one is so inclined to take it upon themselves to place their foot slightly over that invisible boundary line, then it should be mutually agreed upon that moving things forward at a reasonable pace is inevitable.
By prolonging this, one is quickly prone to boredom, confusion, and a very clear path towards temptations which are actually worth her time. If you are going to initially put forth the effort to capture her attention, then maintaining it should come effortlessly once it is confirmed that the attraction is mutual. Otherwise, this is merely a game fit for a child and will inevitably come to its bitter end unless a successful resuscitation attempt can be made by the initiator.-
