Close your eyes,

I’ll disappear 

Into thin air. 

No trace of me.

Let me go. 

You’ll never know

That I was here. 

Take with you 

The fingerprints.

Still photos 

Of a time well spent.  

I can’t let go.

I can’t ignore. 

My mind is tired. 

There is no more. 

Into the walls. 

Into the dark. 

Tearing down 

What will tear us apart. 

Herein lies

Another day, 

Another walk, 

Another

Game to play. 

Forget me now.

Remember me not. 

There will come a day
