Into Nothing
Their words have grown empty
Much like their stares.
Bodies go unnoticed
As their breath
Fills the stagnant air.
One by one
They fall deep into nothing,
A subtle glance into her eyes
And she is gone.
The pictures,
The laughter,
The storybook fades.
Dragonflies and butterflies
Have all flown away.
Distant memories replaced
In the hopes
That they may never return.-
