Nothing
I swore
Never to speak again,
Yet the sound
Is deafening
As the words
Creep softly from my lips;
Their potential for destruction,
My only salvation.
When once the feeling
Washed over me,
Rendering me helpless
Beneath its weight,
Suffocating me in darkness
Until my veins ran cold,
Now a silent blazing inferno
Ingulfing all
Who dare to encounter it,
Melting twisted metal
Into nothing
As our love remains the same.-
