Remember
He didn't notice me as I walked by
Silently,
His back facing me
As he feverishly typed at his computer.
It had been far too long,
But the memories were still there
Just as vivid as the moment they were made.
I watched him,
My eyes focused on that sensitive spot
Just below his hairline.
The familiar scent of his skin still lingered,
Though only a memory now,
As did the taste
And the way that his body
Seemed to melt into my arms every time.
For only a moment
The hands on the clock ceased to move
As I remembered,
Missing the man that I loved.
Missing us as we were.
Longing to feel him in that way
Just one more time,
With whispers in his ear and kisses on his neck.-
