Simplicity in Love
She watched him intently from the kitchen window as the hot summer sun kissed his toned and sophisticated body, sweat glistening over every inch of his skin. Time had been very good to him, and she proudly reaped all of the benefits, her hormones raging like a teenager at the sight of him riding that new lawn mower. She waited patiently, pouring him a glass of ice water in his favorite plastic cup, smiling to herself at the sound of the motor turning off. She happily met him beside the garage as he wiped the sweat from his face with the front of his old t-shirt smiling eagerly at the sight of her. Their love was incredible as was their insatiable attraction to one another which often left them physically entangled for hours at a time.
She handed him the cup of water waiting patiently as he drank from it. She craved every inch of his body just as strongly as she had when their love first began. His image was the most beautiful in her eyes and blinded her to the existence of any other. He admired her in the same way, at times still in awe of the life they had found together, remembering a time when what surrounded them now seemed impossible.
He lowered the cup, looking deeply into her eyes as she smiled back at him, with intentions only known to the two of them and though the yard work was far from finished, he swiftly took her into his arms.-
