Into the Trees
Sly little creature
With the grin of a child
Soft hands reaching out to her,
As if
She was the one
Who got away.
Entangled
Without ever knowing her name,
He find himself whispering
through bushes
And beneath the trees,
In desperate hope of revival.
Death defying
Unidentifiable love
As deep as the ocean falls,
Clear as a summer's day,
Never skipping a beat;
He forgets
What he was even searching for,
Blissfully lost amongst the trees
And gentle touch of her hand.-
