Nowhere

Pretty black dress with nowhere to go 

Distracted by the tears in her eyes, 

But he is blind. 

Alone. 

Burdened only by innocence 

And that which she could never ask for. 

She stares blankly into a dirty windowpane 

As daydreams beckon her, 

A place not too far from where she stands. 

All she ever wanted was for him to notice her.-
