His Fantasy

I could never be her,

The woman he sees.

The girl in the pictures as he obsesses.

The lies he tells to cover her face,

The window from which he watches her.

I will never be her.

Although I once resembled her,

Missing the curves of her body,

Her tiny silhouette.

This is who he is looking for.

The girl behind the glass.

The fiery redhead bathed in perfection,

Frozen in time.

The way he looks at her,

She will never see;

These things

My eyes cannot erase.-
